School Grounds & Buildings
Inverleigh Primary School was established in 1865. It is nestled in an attractive rural setting, nestled near the junction of the Barwon and Leigh rivers, 30km west of Geelong. At the heart of the school stands the original bluestone building, now used for our Arts Program and Library.
The school is set on spacious, well maintained grounds with a variety of outdoor activity areas. Our school offers an attractive bush environment with both passive and play areas for the children. Our grounds incorporate netball / basketball courts, access to adjacent tennis courts, modern playground equipment and a large oval. Within each classroom there are eLearning spaces featuring internet access for all classes and designed to support students with their learning, interactive whiteboards and reading corners.
At Inverleigh Primary School we pride ourselves on offering the secure environment of a smaller school while providing a caring and positive atmosphere for all of our students.
