Grade 6 Camp - Urban Camp Melbourne CBD

In October each year our Grade 6 students head in to Melbourne CBD for  a unique urban camping experience. The trip promises to be a highlight of your child's primary camping experience
Some events that have been included in previous years are:

  • Night visit to the Eureka Skydeck
  • Queen Victoria Market visit
  • Melbourne Cricket Ground guided tour
  • Artvo Immersive Gallery
  • Parliament House visit
  • State Library guided tour
  • Old Melbourne Gaol visit & guided tour
  • Shrine of Remembrance guided tour
  • Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre swim session
  • Visits to famous Melbourne parks & gardens (weather permitting)
  • Dining experiences in several world renown eating districts, such as Chinatown & Lygon street 

 

Grade 5 Camp - Maldon

Our Grade 5 students head to Maldon 136km northwest of Melbourne in July . The camp offers the unique opportunity for children to undertake the Bicycle Safety Program whilst enjoying the history and adventure that the camp and the town offers. Some of the activities include BMX bike track, train ride on an old steam train, Carman's Tunnel Tour (Old Gold Mine), Rock Climbing, Bubble Soccer, and a Hike to Mt. Tarrengower.

 

Grade 4 Camp - Camp Wilkin Anglesea

During Term 4, the Grade 4 students head to Camp Wilkin, situated on 6.5 hectares at Anglesea. It is walking distance to the beach and Coogoorah Park for a close look at rich swamp and river environments. The children participate in a variety of activities that focus on the unique environment and team building and initiative activities. Part of the camp program is SURFING! The children will participate in a surf lesson, facilitated by Go Ride a Wave.

 

Grade 3 Camp - Angahook Aireys Inlet

Angahook provides our Grade 3 children with a comfortable and secure start to the camping program. Angahook Camp is in a beautiful bushland setting and has excellent recreation facilities, food and sleeping quarters. There is abundant wildlife and a variety of outdoor and environmental learning experiences for students to enjoy. Activities provided include: initiative activities, low ropes, archery, orienteering, hut building and the giant swing.
