Students at Inverleigh Primary School are encouraged to develop an appreciation and a love for reading books.

The Library has a broad selection of picture story, fiction and nonfiction books and is well equipped to meet the interests of our students from Prep to Grade Six. The books are available for grades to bulk borrow to take back to their classrooms. When in the Library the students are encouraged by their teachers to select books to support their classroom programs, such as “Just Right” sessions.

The Scholastic Book Fair is held annually. It is an exciting event that provides students and the school community with opportunities to purchase from a wide range of books. It also enables our Grade 6 students to volunteer their time to assist in the running of the Book Fair. All proceeds from the Book Fair go towards new resources to enhance our Library’s collection.
