3:25pm Home Time
We expect students to attend school for a full day. If your child needs to be picked up early you must attend the office, and sign your child out.
Regular attendance is important. Regular attendance helps school work, social adjustment and development of dependability.
The school day starts at 8.55am. Please ensure that your child arrives on time. We recommend students arrive as close to 8:45am as possible, as the yard is supervised from 8:45am and this allows them time to place their bag, visit the amenities and catch up with friends before the bell rings for line-up. The school day ends at 3:25pm, students will be supervised at the front of the school until 3:35pm. At this time any students who have not been picked up will be required to wait in the office until collected by a parent/guardian.
Parents are asked to please notify the office, before 9am, of any child's absence (for half or full day) this is either through Compass, emailing the school or ringing the office on 5265 1340. A text message will be sent out at 9:20am if your child has been marked as Unexplained, you will then be required to log the absense in Compass or call the office.
If someone other than a parent is collecting your child during school hours, you are asked to call the office. If we have not received notice of your child being collected by someone else, we will be contacting you and not allowing your child to leave the school grounds until we have verbal permission from a parent.
If your child has an illness that warrants exclusion from school (i.e. chickenpox, Diphtheria, Hand Foot & Mouth, School Sores etc) please alert the office so that any necessary steps can be carried out.
Reports and Parent/Teacher Interviews
Students' reports are issued twice yearly, in June and December.
3 - Way Conferences are held after the issue of the June Report. Discussion about individual student progress is done at this time. Parent information sessions are held during first term. This enables any concerns or requests for special consideration to be raised early enough for action to be taken. If you wish to discuss your child's progress at any stage, a phone call to arrange a meeting at a mutually acceptable time with the teacher would be appreciated.
School Captains and Vice Captains
At the end of each year the students in Grade 5 are able to put themselves forward to be elected for School Captain or Vice Captian. This includes presenting a candiate speech to the entire school body. The students then vote on who they would like to represent them for the following year. Our 2024 School Captains are -

All students are placed into a House. Where possible, students from the same family are placed in the same house. Each house has House Captains, selected at the beginning of the year by their House team. The three sport houses are:
